Mushrooms must be cooked prior to consumption.

No need to thaw. Quickly rinse the frozen mushrooms and use as fresh, or place them in a frying pan with a little butter and oil.

Salt and pepper to taste, simmer over a medium flame for approximately 20 minutes or as needed. Add chopped garlic and parsley to bring out full flavour.
Wild Mushroom Risotto

  • 12.3 oz. white risotto rice
  • 1.5 quart warm stock
  • 10.6 oz. Asiago Food mixed mushrooms with porcini
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 small onion
  • Parsley, salt, pepper
  • 1) In a pan, sauteĆ© the chopped onion pieces in warm olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter for a few minutes until they have a transparent color.
  • 2) Add the mushrooms and rice.
  • 3) Mix in the warm broth a little at a time and stir frequently. Once it is absorbed by the rice add another ladle. Continue this way until it is thoroughly cooked, about 30 minutes.
  • 4) Add the remaining butter, parsley, cheese, salt and pepper.
  • 5) Let sit for 2 minutes and then serve.
